Candace is a werewolf who has been looking after herself and her twin brother since they we're twelve years old. She has grown up fiercely independent and sure she can cope with anything, while she hunts down the person who betrayed her parents.
Thorne is part of the Collective, people who have been changed by joining their DNA with dragons . He is immortal and has responsibility for the people he brought through space.

Our hero is very old and getting jaded by all the pressure he feels from looking after everyone. He can´t always save them. There is a lot of adventure and excitement in this story. We have just about every type of being in here, Dragons, Werewolves, Vampires and even Cyborg.
This is part of a Sci-Fi Romance series , I have not read the ones that come before this but I still loved this one. Most of the secondary characters are from the previous books, so I am going back to pick up the first in the series .
