Buttoned-up Corporal Kaitlyn Amador is dangerous on every level. As a human, she poses a threat to Marine Captain Jax Raymond’s special Force Recon unit. Though the team has a reputation among the other recon units, only their commanding officer knows their secret. As a woman, the danger posed is entirely different. Jax can survive the temptation for only so long before his wolf takes over and pursues what it wants.

Military intelligence specialist Corporal Kaitlyn Amador is the first woman in the Marines to be assigned to a recon team. And everyone’s watching her. Her mission? Not only prove herself worthy of her place in the group, but uncover the mystery of why Bravo Team is so successful. A mission that gets more difficult every time she’s near Jax…

Captain Jasper "Jax" Raymond is the alpha in his Bravo Team.  The whole team are wolves from separate packs around the country. There are a limited few in government that know about them.
They must remain a heavily guarded secret.
Corporal Kaitlyn Amador is a intelligence specialist.  She has been sent to train with Bravo Team to find out how they can possibly be as good as they are.  There must be something going on.
Our heroine is a true Marine and determined not to wash out of the training.  Our hero wants to protect everyone under his command, even the stubborn woman who won't let him.
A fascinating paranormal /military romance that pushes all it's characters to the extreme.  It's the beginning of a series that I definitely want to read more of.
I loved it.

USA Today bestselling author Heather Long likes long walks in the park, science fiction, superheroes, Marines, and men who aren’t douche bags. She writes snarky women tangled in romance as hot as Texas summertime. From paranormal historical westerns to contemporary military romance, Heather might switch genres, but one thing is true in all of her stories—the characters drive the books. When she’s not wrangling her menagerie of animals, Heather devotes herself to her family, remembering a time when her Nan used to read her steamy Harlequin novels instead of picture books. Heather believes if you like your heroes so real you could lick the grit off their chest and your heroines so likable, you’re sure you were friends with someone just like them once, you’ll enjoy her worlds almost as much as she does.
