Mal wants one thing in life—vengeance against those that deserted him and those who tortured him. But rescuing a wounded girl from their captors, one that wreaks of innocence and fear, makes Mal put his plan on hold. Temporarily. He’ll do what he needs to keep her alive and safe, even if it changes both of their lives forever.

Being stabbed and held in a dark cell wasn’t on Olivia’s top ten list. Her savior isn’t exactly hero material. Angry, scarred, and pissed at the world, he seems to resent being saddled with her. But the longer they’re together, the more firmly a connection forms between them. A connection that binds her to him, his pack, and his world. But that connection may just lead to her death.

Werewolf , Mal has lost track of how long he has been imprisoned.  To him it doesn't matter how much they torture him, he will never betray his pack,  even if they did abandon him.
Olivia Chase steps in to save her brother from attack.  The next thing she knows she is bleeding out from a knife wound and thrown into a cage.  It must be a nightmare,  she will wake up soon.
Our hero longs to give up but his wolf has other ideas.  Unfortunately with the silver collar Mal can't shift to let the wolf out.
Our heroine's whole world is about to change.  The family she loved prove to be much different to what she believed.  How will she ever cope with the facts?.
This is part of a series where the books carry on from each other,  but you could still really enjoy this on it's own.  Lots of action,  an incredibly stubborn hero and a strong but confused heroine.  Some of the werewolf rules we are used to are a little different, especially the claiming.  It is a series that I'm already addicted to.  I can't wait for the next one.

Sasha is part gypsy. Her passions have always been storytelling, history, romance, and travel. Her first play was written for her Girl Scout troupe. She's been writing ever since. She loves getting lost in the worlds and characters she creates; even if she frequently forgets to run the dishwasher or wash socks when she's doing so. Luckily, her four brilliant children and hero-inspiring hubby are super understanding and supportive.
